In this versatile role, you take responsibility for the stable operation, support and further development of modern IT infrastructures. You work on central server and Microsoft technologies, optimise existing systems and ensure reliable operation of technical services. You analyse and resolve complex faults, support exciting IT projects and work closely with internal teams as well as external partners. With your expertise in Windows Server, PowerShell, virtualisation and other infrastructure technologies, you actively contribute to the further development of a future-oriented IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Support, administration and continuous development of modern server and infrastructure environments
Ensuring stable operation and further development of Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Exchange, PKI and SharePoint
Management and optimisation of central Windows core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policies and DFS
Analysis, handling and sustainable resolution of faults in collaboration with external partners, suppliers and IT support
Support in planning, implementation and technical realisation of IT projects in customer and operational environments
Carrying out planned maintenance work and technical adjustments outside regular working hours
Taking on on-call duties to ensure reliable and uninterrupted IT operations
Ensuring smooth team representation and active support in daily system operations
Qualifications:
Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist HF/FH, federal certificate, EFZ or comparable qualification)
Several years of practical experience in operating and supporting complex IT infrastructures as well as heterogeneous system landscapes
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and central enterprise environments
Experience in automation and administration using PowerShell scripting
Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware is an advantage
Basic knowledge of Linux systems and open-source technologies desirable
Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
Strong teamwork, high personal responsibility and a strong quality awareness
