Project Manager Interior Fit-Out (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management of general planning with a focus on interior fit-out, execution planning and project management. You will independently lead demanding interior fit-out projects and coordinate all planning and execution steps from project development to successful completion. The focus is on general planning, leading interdisciplinary project teams, cost, schedule and quality control, as well as coordination of clients, lead planners and specialist planners. The position offers a creative and responsible field of activity with a high degree of independence and the opportunity to actively shape diverse interior fit-out projects, especially in the gastronomy and hotel sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management in general planning for demanding interior fit-out and architectural projects from planning to realisation

• Overall coordination of all planning and execution steps ensuring a structured and efficient project process

• Leadership and management of interdisciplinary project teams coordinating internal staff, external specialist planners and other project participants

• Cost, schedule and quality management with ongoing monitoring of project goals and initiation of appropriate measures in case of deviations

• Creation and monitoring of project and schedule programmes to coordinate planning phases and execution processes

• Preparation of cost estimates and project budgets with control of economic framework conditions and ongoing project controlling

• Direct support and advice to clients as the central contact person for planning, technical and organisational issues

• Leading internal and external project meetings coordinating participants, taking minutes and following up on agreed measures

• Coordination and quality assurance of execution planning reviewing plan documents, constructive details and technical interfaces

• Development of sustainable and creative construction and interior fit-out solutions considering design, functional and economic requirements

• Ensuring project administration and documentation preparing reports, decision bases, planning documents and project-relevant evidence

• Accompanying demanding interior fit-out projects in gastronomy and hotel sectors coordinating specific usage requirements, materials and execution details

Qualifications:

• Completed training as an architect, draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture or interior design/interior fit-out with further training in project management or a comparable qualification

• Extensive professional experience in general planning and project management with a focus on execution planning, interior fit-out and coordination of complex planning processes

• Experience as a planning manager and in leading interdisciplinary project teams as well as strong organisational and coordination skills

• Very good technical and construction understanding with competence in developing sustainable, functional and aesthetically convincing architectural and interior fit-out solutions

• Experience with interior fit-out projects in gastronomy and hotel sectors is an advantage as well as understanding of demanding materials, detail constructions and usage-specific requirements

• Assertive, resilient and confident negotiator with high social competence, flexibility and an independent, precise and solution-oriented working style

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as professional communication skills in dealing with clients, lead planners, specialist planners and other project participants
