About the job
Within the Finance Directorate, the Insurance organisational unit, as the in-house broker of Coop Cooperative, offers extensive insurance services to the companies of the Coop Group. The Insurance OU works closely with internal and external partners. The handling of claims in personal insurance is carried out via the in-house Coop agency SWICA.
Caseworker: Sick Pay, 80-100%
Tasks
- Responsibility for the comprehensive handling of sick pay benefit cases
- Professional and medical monitoring of benefit cases in sick pay until case closure
- Conducting telephone and written clarifications
- Coordination and cooperation with the involved partners (disability insurance, Coop HR, care management, medical advisors, etc.)
Requirements
- Commercial or medical basic training and ideally further education in social/private insurance
- Professional experience in sick pay claims management
- Enjoyment of telephone contact with insured persons and customers; ability to negotiate professionally and solution-oriented even in demanding situations.
- Good oral and written expression in German, French/Italian is an advantage
- Resilient, team-oriented and independently working personality with high initiative and sense of responsibility
