Role:
On behalf of the client, we are seeking an experienced individual for the overall management of demanding and complex building technology projects in the field of ventilation and air conditioning. You will assume technical and organisational responsibility for larger projects and coordinate interdisciplinary and cross-site project teams. In addition to technical project management, quality assurance, project optimisation and the professional development of younger employees are central to the role. As the main contact person, you represent the projects to clients, architects and other specialist planners and contribute to the further development of the planning organisation.
Responsibilities:
Assuming overall project management for large and technically demanding projects in the field of ventilation and air conditioning
Responsibility for holistic project execution regarding quality, costs, deadlines and resources
Development, review and optimisation of demanding ventilation and air conditioning concepts taking into account the overall building technology
Technical leadership and coaching of project teams, including across multiple locations
Transfer of technical know-how as well as mentoring of younger project managers and specialist planners
Coordination of interfaces between HVAC, electrical, architecture and other specialist disciplines
Consultation and technical coordination with clients, architects, specialist planners and contractors
Ensuring professional planning in compliance with relevant SIA standards, energy requirements and building technology standards
Conducting and leading project, planning and coordination meetings as well as supporting demanding technical decisions
Ensuring and further developing quality standards, planning processes and efficient project methods
Contributing to the development of innovative, energy-efficient and practical building technology solutions
Supporting company development through knowledge management, employee development and cross-departmental process optimisation
Qualifications:
Technical basic or further education in building technology, ventilation/air conditioning or HVAC, ideally at HF or FH level
Several years of solid experience in building technology planning with a focus on ventilation/air conditioning
Proven experience in managing large and complex building technology projects
Sound knowledge of ventilation and air conditioning technology, overall building technology and interdisciplinary coordination
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building technology standards
Experience in technical leadership, quality assurance and development of project teams
Very good German language skills for project management, consulting and technical documentation
