Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced professional for the technical and commercial project management of demanding ventilation and HVAC projects. You will take independent responsibility for the planning, organisation, and execution of building technology systems and accompany diverse construction projects from project preparation to successful billing. The focus is on coordinating installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring costs, quality, and deadlines, as well as professional support of customers and suppliers. The position combines practical project management, technical building expertise, and economic responsibility with the realisation of modern and energy-efficient ventilation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Independent technical and commercial management of ventilation and HVAC projects in new construction, renovation, and refurbishment

• Overall responsibility for operational project execution from work preparation through installation to commissioning and handover

• Planning, organisation, and control of execution processes considering technical requirements, available resources, and agreed project goals

• Responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality management including budget control, project calculation, and monitoring of construction progress

• Conducting change order management including identification, evaluation, calculation, and processing of additional services

• Preparation and review of partial and final invoices as well as ensuring complete commercial project documentation

• Technical leadership and coordination of internal staff, installation teams, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution

• Organisation and monitoring of material procurement and supplier coordination including coordination of orders, delivery dates, and technical specifications

• Central contact person for clients, principals, specialist planners, and suppliers on technical and organisational project matters

• Monitoring of installation and assembly work on site regarding execution quality, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with technical specifications

• Coordination of interfaces between ventilation, heating, air conditioning, sanitary, and other trades as well as participation in construction and coordination meetings

• Support of functional tests, commissioning, and system acceptance including defect rectification and handover of technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Completed technical basic training in ventilation, heating, air conditioning, or building technology, for example as a ventilation system builder EFZ or building technology planner EFZ specialising in ventilation

• Further training as a certified technician HF building technology, project manager building technology, or equivalent higher professional qualification is an advantage

• Several years of professional experience in project management and execution of ventilation and HVAC systems with technical and commercial project responsibility

• Sound knowledge of ventilation and air conditioning technology as well as experience in installation coordination, material disposition, and technical site management

• Confident handling of project calculation, cost control, change order management, and billing as well as knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, and safety regulations

• Good user knowledge of digital project management and administration programmes as well as MS Office for scheduling, project controlling, and technical documentation

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for customer support, leading installation teams, and coordination with subcontractors as well as an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
