We are looking for you as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as
Specialist in Disaster Preparedness 50%
Exciting tasks await:
- Planning, organising and conducting training for partner organisations and operational forces, especially the Regional Command Authorities and Cantonal Incident Commanders
- Organising and conducting staff framework and operational exercises for staffs and partner organisations of civil protection
- Participation in training and exercises as course instructor, class teacher, exercise leader and observer
- Participation in the support of the Regional Command Authorities
- Leadership and participation in projects of the section as directed by the section head.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience in Swiss civil protection, e.g. from fire brigade, police, military service or civil protection
- Experience and training in adult education (methodology, didactics, practical implementation, etc.), for example as an instructor
- Experience in project management and recognised project management certification
- Conceptual, independent working style and strong organisational skills
- Extensive knowledge of staff work is an advantage

Your working environment
The population is at the centre of the activities of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. We work sustainably and purposefully for the safety of their living environments. The Military and Civil Protection Division fulfils tasks in the areas of military, military service replacement as well as civil and population protection. We are also the administrative hub for members of the army and civil protection in the canton of Aargau. The employees are responsible for training and coordinating operations within the framework of civil protection.
