Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a qualified professional as a service technician specialising in refrigeration and air conditioning technology for an established company in the field of mobile refrigeration systems, air conditioning technology and temporary cooling solutions. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems at customers throughout Switzerland. The focus is on technical fault diagnosis, repair, system monitoring as well as digital service and maintenance documentation. The position combines modern refrigeration technology, independent service assignments and mobile building technology solutions with a versatile technical field of activity.
Responsibilities:
Delivery, installation and commissioning of mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems for industrial, commercial and business customers throughout Switzerland
Assembly and disassembly of temporary refrigeration and air conditioning systems including connection, functional testing and return of the systems
Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on mobile refrigeration machines, air conditioning units and technical cooling systems
Systematic fault analysis and troubleshooting of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical system components
Repair and replacement of technical components such as compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, sensors and control components within the scope of professional qualification
Monitoring and optimisation of system operation including checking operating parameters, cooling performance, energy efficiency and operational safety
Technical support and advice to customers on installation, system operation, faults and maintenance issues
Carrying out functional and safety checks and ensuring compliance with relevant technical regulations and refrigerant requirements
Creation and maintenance of digital service, maintenance and inspection documentation using tablets, smartphones and modern service applications
Organisation of materials, tools and spare parts as well as technical preparation of assembly and service assignments
Carrying out maintenance and repair work at the service location as well as support in the technical preparation and provision of mobile systems
Participation in on-call duty to ensure system operation and resolve urgent technical faults
Qualifications:
Completed technical training, for example as a refrigeration system mechanic EFZ, heating installer EFZ, building technology planner EFZ or electrical installer EFZ
Professional experience in technical service, assembly or maintenance of refrigeration, air conditioning or building technology systems
Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning technology, especially refrigeration cycles, heat exchangers, compressors, pumps and control systems, is an advantage
Experience in fault diagnosis, commissioning and repair of mechanical, electrical or refrigeration components
Good knowledge of digital service tools, tablets, smartphones and electronic maintenance documentation
Good German language skills in spoken and written form, French language skills are an advantage
Driving licence category B and willingness to undertake service assignments throughout Switzerland
