Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to implement demanding cloud projects and actively shape the security of modern IT infrastructures? As a Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will further develop Azure environments, accompany the migration of existing systems, and automate recurring infrastructure processes.
In close collaboration with other technical departments, you ensure powerful, secure, and maintainable cloud solutions. You will specifically contribute your ideas for process optimisation and the use of new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Support cloud transformations and the transfer of local IT systems to Microsoft Azure
Design and implementation of security architectures for cloud infrastructures
Development of automated infrastructure processes with Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell
Further development and modernisation of existing cloud architectures
Coordination with the network team regarding connectivity, network architecture, and Fortinet technologies
Improvement of technical processes through automation and the use of AI
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience working with Microsoft Azure, at least three years
Good knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, or PowerShell and enthusiasm for automation
Experience in cloud security, ideally with already implemented solutions
Relevant Azure certifications, for example as Solutions Architect or Security Engineer, are a plus
Independent and proactive working style with technical understanding of complex cloud environments
Good German language skills required
