In this role you are responsible for overseeing the procurement and management of IT-related goods and services for Skyguide. This includes developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring alignment with business goals while fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders and perspectives and maintaining contract and supplier master data in the ERP system (S/4 Hana).
- Develop and implement category strategies for IT procurement, including hardware, software, IT services, data centers, cloud solutions, and telecom
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage strategic suppliers for IT products and services, ensuring fair and objective selection processes while assessing supplier-related risks, including cybersecurity, compliance, and delivery risks
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and terms of engagement with suppliers, while analyzing total cost of ownership (TCO) and identifying cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities
- Act as a trusted procurement business partner, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and deliver value-driven solutions
- Communicate category plans and procurement strategies effectively to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and consideration of diverse perspectives
- Own and execute the full contract lifecycle, including maintaining contract records, tracking renewals and expirations, and mitigating contractual and commercial risks
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to category performance, supplier management, contract compliance, and cost optimization
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, IT, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CIPS, CPM, PMP) are a plus
- 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or category management, preferably within an Air Traffic Management environment, including hands-on experience with SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA, in procurement and contract management processes
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Communication: Excellent diplomatic communication abilities to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and expert organizations
- Building Relationships: You value diverse perspectives, respect personal boundaries, and invest in meaningful professional relationships
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken; French and/or German is an asset
