Architectural Draughtsperson (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for architectural planning, working drawings and constructive detail development in a professional architectural environment. You will be responsible for creating and coordinating tender, execution and detail plans and accompany demanding construction projects during the technical planning and realisation phase. The focus is on CAD planning with ArchiCAD, BIM-based building modelling as well as the development of precise and technically feasible construction solutions. The position offers a varied range of tasks with close collaboration with project architects, specialist planners and experts as well as the opportunity to actively shape the quality of the construction implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Working and execution planning for demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects in Swiss building construction

• Creation of execution and detail plans including floor plans, sections, facades, construction details and technical connection solutions

• CAD planning and 3D modelling with ArchiCAD including creation, editing and further development of digital building models

• BIM-based project work with support in model coordination, plan derivation and digital collaboration with specialist planners

• Constructive detail development taking into account materials, building physics, thermal insulation, soundproofing and constructional requirements

• Coordination of architectural and specialist planning documents with alignment of structural engineering, building services and other technical interfaces

• Preparation of tender plans and technical documents as a basis for submissions, contractor offers and construction execution

• Plan processing according to SIA phases with a focus on tendering, execution planning and support during realisation

• Technical clarifications with specialist planners and experts to develop economical, standards-compliant and executable construction solutions

• Quality assurance and plan control with review of plan statuses, dimension chains, technical details and coordination requirements

• Plan and documentation management with structured administration of CAD files, BIM models, revision statuses and project documentation

• Support for project architecture and site management in technical execution questions, plan adjustments and coordination with executing companies

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture

• Professional experience in Swiss architectural and execution planning, especially working drawings, detail planning and technical project work, is an advantage

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD as well as experience in 2D and 3D CAD planning

• Sound knowledge of building construction and detail design, especially building envelope, material connections, thermal insulation and constructive execution

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and planning processes as well as experience in coordinating architectural and specialist planning documents

• Experience with BIM-based working methods and digital building models as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, planning coordination and professional consultations
