Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced architect for the execution planning and tendering of architecturally demanding conversion, refurbishment and transformation projects. You will develop architectural concepts through to technically and constructively precise implementation and work on projects with ArchiCAD across the relevant planning and realisation phases. A particular focus is on building refurbishment, the repurposing of existing buildings, as well as projects with increased design and partly heritage conservation requirements. The position combines architectural quality standards with sound knowledge of construction, tendering and Swiss building processes.
Responsibilities:
Handling demanding conversion, refurbishment and repurposing projects from design to realisation
Responsibility for execution and detailed planning with a focus on technically and aesthetically high-quality solutions
Development and detailing of constructions, material connections and fit-out concepts for existing buildings
Creation and coordination of execution, detail and working drawings with ArchiCAD
Preparation of tender documents and specifications as well as support during tendering and awarding
Coordination of planning with specialist planners, site management, contractors and specialists
Review and integration of contractor, workshop and specialist planner drawings into architectural planning
Development of project-specific solutions for building refurbishment considering existing building structures
Handling projects with consideration of heritage protection and conservation requirements
Ensuring planning quality and compliance with relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations
Accompanying the realisation phase and resolving constructive, design and technical issues on site
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree FH/ETH or equivalent university qualification
Several years of professional experience in Switzerland in execution planning and tendering of complex building projects
Solid experience with conversion, refurbishment, renovation or repurposing of existing buildings
Very good knowledge of construction, detailing and technical-constructive planning
Confident skills in ArchiCAD
Knowledge of SIA standards and Swiss building processes; experience with heritage conservation requirements is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
