System Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design and evolution of the infrastructure

• Design, develop and maintain concepts related to the overall system architecture

• Define and maintain principles of high availability, security and continuity

• Develop and maintain usage rules and concepts for system management tools

• Plan and manage installations, migrations and updates of systems and tools

Management, operation and supervision of systems

• Ensure the operation, supervision and regular control of infrastructure systems

• Manage and maintain the network, computer hardware, software and inventory

• Administer, maintain and configure infrastructure system management tools

• Monitor successful backups and guarantee system availability

Security and compliance

• Develop and apply security policies and concepts for systems and tools

• Implement measures ensuring data confidentiality and integrity

Support, assistance and documentation

• Participate in level 2 and 3 support, and handle incident management

• Advise and support application developers hosted on infrastructure systems.

Profile:

• Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent training

• Swiss or European nationality

General skills

• Proficiency in French or German

• Good knowledge of the second language

Core professional skills

• Skills in Active Directory administration and access rights management

• Skills in Windows and Linux server administration

• Ability to write technical documentation and procedures

Technical skills

• Mastery of network infrastructures (switching, routing, VLAN, Wi-Fi, security, Cisco/Aruba)

• Mastery of VMware vSphere and Veeam Backup & Replication solutions

• Good knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent).
