Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Service Technician Refrigeration & Air Conditioning for the independent maintenance of demanding refrigeration technical systems and facilities. You will take on maintenance, servicing, repairs as well as new installations and conversions and accompany smaller projects from technical solution finding to commissioning. Besides practical work on the systems, you advise customers, coordinate suppliers, and supervise proper execution. The role combines refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical, and building technology with a varied field service.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repair work on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Independent fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on refrigeration, electrical, and control technology components
Execution of new installations, expansions, and conversions of existing refrigeration systems
Technical consultation and support of customers on site
Development of project proposals and execution projects for smaller systems and adjustments
Planning and implementation of commissioning, functional checks, and system optimisations
Supervision and coordination of assembly and execution work
Obtaining and reviewing offers as well as procurement of materials, components, and external services
Coordination with suppliers, specialist companies, and internal contacts
Maintenance of system, maintenance, service, and revision documentation
Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations
Participation in the on-call service to ensure system availability
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship, for example as refrigeration system mechanic EFZ, heating installer EFZ, ventilation system builder EFZ, or electrical installer EFZ
Professional experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, HVAC, or electrical systems
Knowledge in fault diagnosis, commissioning, and technical maintenance
Certification for refrigerants or willingness to obtain it, advantageous
Experience handling technical system documentation and service orders
Driving licence category B and willingness to participate in on-call service
Good German language skills, spoken and written
