Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Construction Management (80-100%) for the independent management and control of demanding building construction projects. You will accompany the construction projects from concept and planning through tendering and awarding to realisation and handover and represent the interests of the client. The focus is on the consistent management of costs, deadlines, quality and project risks as well as the coordination of all planning and execution participants. The position combines construction management, client consulting and project control with high professional and economic responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and control of building construction projects of varying size and complexity
Consulting and support of the client from project definition to completion and handover
Coordination and control of architects, engineers, specialist planners, contractors and authorities
Responsibility for compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and project objectives
Establishment and leadership of a structured project controlling including cost and schedule monitoring
Identification, evaluation and management of project risks, changes and claims
Support of tendering, submission and awarding processes
Conducting award and contract negotiations with companies, suppliers and service providers
Monitoring of construction cost development as well as checking forecasts, invoices and project changes
Preparation and leadership of project, planning and coordination meetings
Creation of status reports, decision bases and project reporting for clients and management
Ensuring a structured project execution up to acceptance, documentation and handover
Qualifications:
Completed studies in architecture or civil engineering (FH/ETH/university) or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in project management, construction management or client representation
Sound knowledge in construction cost management, construction law and project control
Good knowledge of Swiss SIA phases, standards and construction processes
Experience with tendering, awarding, contract and claims management
Confident handling of Microsoft 365 as well as industry solutions such as Messerli and MS Project
Business fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
