Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a committed professional for construction management in interior fit-out with a focus on cost planning, tendering and construction execution. You will take on the technical and organisational responsibility for demanding interior fit-out projects and accompany them from cost estimation to implementation on site. The focus is on preparing cost estimates and quotations, tendering, contractor coordination as well as solution-oriented management of construction processes. The position offers a varied field of activity with high personal responsibility and the opportunity to successfully realise interior fit-out projects in a dynamic and collegial team.

Responsibilities:

• Independent construction management of demanding interior fit-out projects with responsibility for the proper organisation and coordination of construction execution

• Preparation of rough cost estimates and cost calculations as a basis for the economic assessment and planning of interior fit-out projects

• Development of detailed quotations taking into account materials, labour and project-specific requirements

• Preparation of tenders and specifications for various trades and services in interior fit-out

• Tendering and preparation of contractor awards including examination and comparison of incoming offers

• Cost control during project implementation with monitoring of budgeted services and early detection of deviations

• Coordination of executing contractors and craft businesses with alignment of trades and ensuring efficient site processes

• Monitoring of deadlines and execution quality with control of construction progress and agreed project requirements

• Technical clarification of execution questions on site with development of practical and economical solutions

• Coordination with architects, specialist planners and clients to coordinate constructive, design and organisational interfaces

• Organisation and conduct of site meetings with documentation of important decisions and follow-up of agreed measures

• Support of construction acceptance and defect rectification ensuring proper completion and handover of interior fit-out works

Qualifications:

• Completed basic construction training, for example as a draughtsman EFZ specialising in architecture, construction technician HF or with a comparable construction-technical qualification

• Further training as a certified construction manager is an advantage as well as practical experience in construction management, cost planning or execution of building and interior fit-out projects

• Good knowledge of Swiss construction standards and regulations as well as understanding of the technical and organisational requirements of construction execution

• Experience in preparing cost estimates, quotations and tenders as well as a pronounced cost and quality awareness

• Solution- and goal-oriented working style with technical understanding, networked thinking and the ability to handle challenges on site in a structured manner

• Communicative, team-oriented and resilient personality with confident, self-assured manner and high initiative

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a reliable, independent and structured working style even in demanding project situations
