The Municipality of La Neuveville is looking for the Signol’air full-day school:

A DIRECTOR at 70%

Type of contract: Permanent contract

Start date: 1st January 2027 or date to be agreed

Your mission:

Within the scope of your role, you will undertake a dual mission comprising 40% field activity as an educational referent and 30% dedicated to management, administrative tasks, and leading the structure.

Educational and pedagogical referent at 40%

• You will be the reference person within the team for pedagogical and educational matters and ensure the coherence of professional practices within the structure
• You will support and assist the team in their educational practices as well as in handling particular or complex situations
• You will actively participate in supervising the children and ensure their well-being, safety, and development
• You will develop and oversee the implementation of the structure’s educational project
• You will ensure quality collaboration with families

Management at 30%

• You will be responsible for the management, organisation, and smooth running of the structure
• You will lead, coordinate, and support the team
• You will organise and plan resources, schedules, and the daily operation of the structure
• You will manage administrative tasks and monitor the structure’s budgets
• You will ensure collaboration with families, schools, municipal services, and various partners
• You will ensure compliance with legal provisions, directives, and requirements applicable to out-of-school care

Your profile:

• Required qualification as a certified early childhood educator or equivalent recognised title
• Experience in team leadership, coordination, or a responsible role
• Proven experience in the educational field, ideally in out-of-school care
• Strong pedagogical skills and a keen interest in children and their development
• Good organisational, planning, and administrative management skills
• Good interpersonal skills with children, families, colleagues, and various partners
• Leadership, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and team spirit
• Proficiency in common IT tools and good writing skills
