Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the execution and detailed planning of demanding architectural projects in a Switzerland-wide architectural firm. You will accompany the development and realisation of residential, work, educational and healthcare buildings and translate high-quality architectural designs into precise, economical and technically feasible constructions. The focus is on constructive detail development, digital architectural planning with Archicad and BIM, as well as the coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams. The position combines design architectural quality, constructive expertise and sustainable building with the opportunity to actively shape innovative and climate-friendly construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of execution and detailed planning for demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects in residential, office, educational and healthcare construction

• Translation of architectural design concepts into technically and economically feasible construction solutions while maintaining the design quality of the project

• Creation and coordination of execution, working and detailed plans with Archicad including floor plans, sections, elevations and constructive connection details

• Development and optimisation of constructive detail solutions for building envelopes, facades, roof constructions, interior fittings and material transitions

• Building up, processing and maintaining digital building models as well as applying BIM methods for model-based planning and interdisciplinary coordination

• Coordination and integration of specialist planner documents from structural engineering, building services, building physics and other special disciplines

• Participation in the technical further development of design concepts considering functional, constructive, ecological and economic requirements

• Development of materialisation and construction concepts focusing on sustainability, resource efficiency and durable building methods

• Review and quality assurance of execution documents regarding technical feasibility, compliance with standards and conformity with the architectural concept

• Coordination with project managers, clients, specialist planners and contractors to clarify technical interfaces and constructive issues

• Support during construction execution including processing plan adjustments, clarifying execution details and architectural quality control

• Ensuring compliance with relevant Swiss building laws, SIA standards and technical guidelines during project planning and execution planning

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture FH/ETH or equivalent recognised university degree

• Several years of professional experience in execution and detailed planning of demanding architectural projects, ideally in Swiss building construction

• Sound knowledge in construction, materialisation, building envelope planning and architectural detail development

• Very good user knowledge of Archicad for 2D/3D planning and digital building modelling

• Experience with BIM-supported planning processes, especially specialist model coordination, model checking and digital collaboration

• In-depth knowledge of Swiss building laws, SIA standards and technical guidelines as well as relevant SIA service phases

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project processing, planning coordination and communication with project participants
