Area Sales Manager Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible for the support and development of a sales territory in an industrial environment. You are accountable for expanding the customer portfolio as well as the economic development of your region.
Responsibilities:
You identify new sales potentials and develop corresponding measures for business development
Independent management of sales activities within your assigned region
You conduct price negotiations taking into account the defined profit targets
Regular exchange with business customers to ensure long-term cooperation
You analyse regional market changes and adjust your sales planning accordingly
Coordination of ongoing customer projects with internal specialist departments and external sales partners
You monitor sales figures and derive appropriate optimisation measures
Qualifications:
You have a technical basic education as well as a technical or business degree
Several years of experience in technical B2B sales, preferably in an industrial environment
Further training in business administration or industrial process engineering is an advantage
You work in a structured manner and have strong negotiation skills
Confident handling of CRM systems and common MS Office applications
Fluent English skills and additional foreign languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel regularly within the managed region
