Senior Network Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
For a technically demanding environment, an experienced professional is sought who co-designs, operates, and continuously optimises modern ISP networks. The focus is on high-performance network architectures, automation, and the implementation of demanding customer solutions.
In addition to technical responsibility, knowledge transfer within the team is also part of this position. Those who enjoy modern network technologies, Python, Ansible, and the further development of standards will find a versatile range of tasks here.
Responsibilities:
Further development, optimisation, and operation of modern ISP network infrastructures
Design and construction of scalable network architectures and technical standards
Implementation of demanding network projects for customers
Development and expansion of automation solutions with Python and Ansible
Technical support and professional guidance of other engineers as well as participation in presales
Creation of technical documentation and taking on on-call duties
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training
Mandatory Cisco CCNP certification; CCIE is an advantage
Several years of experience in designing, building, and operating ISP networks
Sound knowledge in network automation with Python and/or Ansible
Enthusiasm for modern network and automation technologies as well as enjoyment of knowledge transfer
Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style as well as good German and English skills
