Construction Cost Planner (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced specialist in construction cost planning and construction cost controlling for demanding building construction projects. You will accompany projects from design to handover and be responsible for cost determinations, construction specifications, cost controls and post-calculations throughout the various project phases. Additionally, you will participate in the tendering of specialist planning services and the evaluation of HVAC concepts. The position combines construction economics and project controlling with commercial tasks such as fee offers, contracts and invoicing.

Responsibilities:

• Accompanying building construction projects from design to handover from the perspective of construction cost planning

• Preparation and further development of cost estimates, cost quotations and cost calculations across the relevant SIA phases

• Responsibility for ongoing construction cost controlling including target-actual comparisons, forecasts and variance analyses

• Structuring and monitoring of project costs according to construction cost plan BKP/eBKP

• Preparation and processing of construction specifications, service descriptions and cost bases

• Conducting post-calculations and cost key figure analyses to optimise future projects

• Support in tendering, offer comparisons and award decisions

• Participation in the tendering and evaluation of specialist planning services

• Support in the economic assessment and evaluation of HVAC concepts and technical variants

• Preparation of fee offers, planner contracts and contractual bases

• Processing and checking of invoices, fees and project-related billing

• Maintenance and evaluation of project data with Messerli, Microsoft Excel and other construction administration software

Qualifications:

• Training as a construction cost planner, construction economist, site manager, HF technician or FH/ETH architect or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in construction cost planning and cost control of building construction projects

• Experience in site management, tendering or realisation is an advantage

• Sound knowledge of BKP/eBKP, cost determination, tendering and post-calculation

• Very good user skills in Messerli, MS Excel and Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
