Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a traditional family business. For over 50 years, our partner has relied on the combination of stability and innovation. The construction company currently employs over 500 people at several locations in Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement Azure cloud infrastructures, including networks, databases, virtual machines, and security solutions.
- Automate deployments and infrastructures using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), e.g. with Terraform or ARM templates.
- Manage Azure Virtual Networks, load balancers, and other network components to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Set up and manage Azure storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and other database services.
Qualifications:
- Completed education in IT/computer science as well as practical professional experience are a must.
- Certification as an Azure Administrator or similar Azure certificates are required.
- Proficient in container technologies and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM templates as well as scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with cloud security policies and best practices for protecting data and applications in the cloud.
- Experience in handling IT projects and the ability to implement them successfully.
- Enjoy customer contact and demonstrate service orientation.
- Excellent communication skills, as well as flexibility and resilience.
- Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written), French or Italian skills are an advantage.
