Convinced that everyone can make a difference, the HUG have created the Innovation Centre, a true experimental laboratory and catalyst for the transformation of the institution and the Geneva health network.
The Innovation Centre supports projects that contribute to evolving practices, organisations, and care pathways, relying on collective intelligence, innovation, and usage.
At the heart of this transformation, the Innovation Centre notably manages Concerto, the digital platform intended for patients, as well as My PRO Space, the platform for health professionals.
Your mission: to develop Concerto in the service of patients
Concerto is the HUG digital platform that supports patients before, during, and after their care. It notably allows them to access digital information and services, follow their care pathway, and actively participate in their care.
As part of its development and the expansion of its uses, we are looking for a Project Manager to help evolve Concerto and transform the needs of patients and professionals into concrete, useful, and sustainable digital solutions.
Within the Innovation Centre, you play a key role in the evolution of Concerto, a platform at the heart of care pathways and digital usage. Acting as an interface between professions and technical teams, you contribute to defining the platform’s directions, managing its developments, and supporting their deployment.
You take charge of cross-functional projects and functional developments from end to end. In this capacity, you analyse the needs of patients and health professionals, understand existing pathways, and identify opportunities for simplification and improvement. You formalise needs, translate them into objectives, features, and processes, then define priorities, milestones, responsibilities, as well as associated risks and dependencies. You then manage projects through to production, ensuring deadlines, resources, and deliverables are met. You also facilitate workshops, working groups, and governance bodies, while providing clear and regular reporting to various stakeholders.
A true link between users and specialised teams, you transform business needs into actionable functional requirements. You collaborate closely with development, UX/UI, architecture, cybersecurity, and integration teams, as well as with medical, nursing, administrative management, and other relevant professions. You participate in the design and validation of pathways and features, while challenging requests to identify solutions offering the best balance between usability, simplicity, feasibility, and coherence with the HUG digital ecosystem. Without necessarily being an IT specialist, you are comfortable with technical issues and can facilitate dialogue between different actors.
Beyond project management, you contribute to the overall vision of the platform. You participate in identifying and prioritising developments, building and updating the functional roadmap, and analysing and arbitrating requests based on their impact, available resources, and institutional priorities. You also ensure identification of interdependencies between projects and systems to guarantee coherent and evolving development of Concerto, while monitoring digital health usage and innovations. This role requires you to navigate smoothly between strategic thinking and operational implementation.
You also support testing, validation, and deployment phases of new features. In collaboration with stakeholders, you anticipate organisational impacts, define change management methods, and contribute to communication, information, and training actions. You support the adoption of new uses by teams, collect user feedback, and ensure its integration into future platform developments.
Finally, you participate in developing a data- and results-driven management culture. You define indicators to monitor feature usage and adoption, analyse usage and friction points, measure benefits obtained, and propose continuous improvement actions. This approach helps demonstrate Concerto’s value for patients, professionals, and the institution.
You operate in a transversal, complex, and constantly evolving environment. This position requires the ability to unite interlocutors with varied profiles, create buy-in without direct hierarchical links, and collectively advance high-stakes projects.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s level university degree, ideally in engineering, management, public administration, or an equivalent field. Applications from health professionals with additional project management training are also welcome.
You have project management experience, ideally in the health sector or Swiss hospital environment, and master key project management tools and methods, notably HERMES. Knowledge of SharePoint and/or Workfront is an asset.
Organised and rigorous, you can manage several files simultaneously, ensure structured follow-up, and produce quality deliverables. You have strong analytical, synthesis, and writing skills, enabling you to formalise needs, structure processes, and identify improvement avenues.
With excellent interpersonal skills, you are comfortable facilitating multidisciplinary working groups and can adapt your communication to varied interlocutors. You enjoy teamwork, foster collaboration, and can mobilise stakeholders around common goals.
Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented, you enjoy working in a continuously evolving environment. Your adaptability, autonomy, and initiative allow you to approach new topics effectively and support change constructively.
Finally, your interest in hospital professions, creativity, sense of teamwork, and positive attitude will make you an asset to the Innovation Centre team.
Key skills: organisation, rigour, analysis, communication, collaboration, autonomy, adaptability, and results orientation.
