Look forward to exciting tasks:

• Prepare water samples and perform trace analysis with highly sensitive measuring devices.
• Evaluate complex measurement data, interpret mass spectra and reliably identify substances.
• Develop, validate and optimise analytical test methods.
• Maintain measuring devices, independently resolve minor malfunctions and ensure functionality.
• Help shape laboratory processes and participate in projects.

• You want to make an important contribution to the quality and safety of Basel's drinking water with your work.
• Experience in validating demanding test methods as well as practical experience with GC-MS and LC-MS.
• Completed training as a laboratory technician EFZ specialising in chemistry.
• You are familiar with ISO 17025 and confidently implement the requirements in your daily laboratory work.
• Enjoy precise laboratory work as well as the evaluation and interpretation of complex measurement data.
