Heating Service Technician (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 90,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist for the service, maintenance and repair of heating systems. You will look after heating systems directly at customers’ premises, independently carry out fault rectifications and ensure reliable and energy-efficient system operation. In addition to technical service work, you will take on material organisation and customer advice and professionally document your assignments. Depending on the deployment plan, on-call duties are also part of the varied range of tasks.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of service, maintenance and repair work on heating systems
Systematic fault analysis and troubleshooting on heat generation, distribution and control systems
Maintenance and inspection of heat pumps, boilers, pumps, valves and hydraulic components
Carrying out functional checks and system optimisations to ensure reliable and efficient operation
Replacement and installation of defective components and system parts
Technical advice to customers on faults, repairs and optimisation options
Independent planning and organisation of service and maintenance assignments
Organisation, ordering and procurement of spare parts and consumables
Preparation of service reports, maintenance protocols and assignment documentation
Coordination with dispatch, project management and installation for extensive repairs or renovation measures
Carrying out on-call and fault assignments according to deployment planning
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a heating installer with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or comparable training in building technology
Professional experience in heating service, maintenance or system construction is an advantage
Good knowledge of heating technology, hydraulics and fault diagnosis
Experience with maintenance, repair and upkeep work on heating systems
Willingness to take on on-call duties
Good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
