Role:
In this role, you apply your expertise precisely where it really makes a difference. As a Professional System Engineer Hybrid Cloud, you develop future-proof hybrid cloud solutions and support customers in demanding projects. You work with current cloud and virtualisation technologies and actively contribute your ideas to the design of solutions. You ensure that the solutions not only convince technically but also create real added value in the customers’ daily operations.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation and further development of hybrid IT infrastructures with HPE, VMware, and Veeam
In the Operations Team, you support patch, update, and lifecycle management, including with Azure Update Management
At customers and in the internal data centre, you take on the planning, configuration, migration, and implementation of modern on-premises solutions
You analyse complex faults sustainably and develop appropriate, future-oriented solutions
You accompany handovers and ensure complete documentation of system environments in a structured and careful manner
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with further education at HF/FH level or are currently pursuing this
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in operating data centre, virtualisation, or hybrid cloud environments.
Sound knowledge of HPE, VMware, and Veeam characterises your technical profile
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, enjoy communicating in a team, and have very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
