Join the Supply Chain team of a major biopharmaceutical player in Northern Vaud.
Within the E2E Supply Chain team, you manage the short-term planning of material supply and optimise their flow to the GMP manufacturing area, while respecting warehouse capacity and inventory targets. Your main mission is to build close collaboration with external suppliers to ensure high-quality materials in the long term and an excellent delivery level (OTIF).
Your main responsibilities
Planning & Material Flow
Manage the short- and medium-term supply plan (horizon from 1 day to 3 months).
Optimise the flow of materials to GMP manufacturing, according to storage capacities and inventory targets.
Enrich the E2E Control Tower system with accurate supplier data (qualitative and quantitative).
Develop prospective (what-if) scenarios based on agreed delivery times.
Supplier & Order Management
Develop strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure compliant and on-time deliveries (OTIF).
Maintain frequent contact with suppliers to keep the order book accurate and up to date.
Issue purchase orders (PO) to enable timely launch of production orders.
Track orders, adjust delivery confirmations and update estimated time of arrival (ETA) to stock.
Support supplier relationship management (SRM) and act as backup to the Senior Specialist Material Planner for long-term strategic planning.
Master Data & Operational Support
Act as subject matter expert (SME) on planning and material master data (Master Data: lead times, minimum shelf life upon receipt, etc.).
Support Warehouse and Quality Assurance (QA) to gather necessary documents (Certificates of Analysis - COA).
Compliance & Ethics
Apply internal policies, procedures and specifications.
Work in strict compliance with legal, regulatory and company ethics rules.
Your profile
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management or scientific field (or equivalent experience in pharma). At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, with hands-on material planning practice.
Technical skills:
Strong command of Excel and PowerBI; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Ability to work in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, team spirit, results orientation (get-things-done), ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Languages: Intermediate level in French and English.
