Role:
Modern platforms thrive on people who remain curious and enjoy learning. As an OpenShift Engineer (Junior), you will dive deep into the world of OpenShift and container technologies. Experienced engineers will accompany you and share their knowledge. Step by step, you will take on more responsibility and actively shape platform operations. Automation and clean release processes are your daily learning fields.
Responsibilities:
You support development teams with containerisation, deployment, and operation of their applications.
You actively assist in automating deployments and recurring processes.
You optimise build, test, and release processes and ensure smooth deliveries.
Furthermore, you analyse incidents and develop sustainable solutions together with experienced engineers.
Monitoring and logging are part of your daily routine, as is maintaining technical documentation and best practices.
You also work closely with development, architecture, and IT security teams.
Qualifications:
You bring initial professional experience in DevOps, cloud, system, or software engineering.
You have already worked practically with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
You are familiar with the basics of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
You are confident with Git and want to deepen your know-how in GitOps. Experience with Tekton, ArgoCD, TeamCity, or similar tools is a plus.
Additionally, you know initial monitoring and logging solutions such as Sentry or ELK.
You also impress with a quick grasp, structured working style, and genuine enthusiasm for automation, security, and teamwork.
