Overall Project Manager HVAC (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced overall project manager building services engineering to lead and manage demanding, multi-trade building services projects. You will take full responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and profitability and coordinate the involved HVAC and other technical disciplines throughout the entire project duration. In addition to technical and commercial project management, you will lead interdisciplinary teams and act as the central contact person for clients, planners and contractors. The position combines engineering, general planning, leadership and client development with significant entrepreneurial scope for design.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for complex building services and HVAC projects regarding costs, deadlines, quality and project success

• Superordinate technical coordination of the trades heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitary as well as relevant interfaces to electrical and building automation

• Leadership and management of interdisciplinary project and specialist planning teams

• Responsibility for project organisation, resource planning, project controlling and risk management

• Ensuring technical and economic target achievement across the relevant SIA phases

• Management of general planning and engineering processes as well as coordination of interfaces with architecture and construction

• Advising clients on technical concepts, variant decisions, investments and optimisation measures

• Ensuring integral, energy-efficient and sustainable building services planning

• Management of tendering, awarding and realisation processes for demanding technical systems

• Integration and further development of BIM and digital planning processes

• Maintenance and expansion of existing client and partner relationships as well as support in acquisition and offer preparation

• Representation of the department towards clients, planning companies, contractors and other market partners

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education in building services / HVAC, for example technician HF, engineer FH or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in overall project management of complex building services projects in the Swiss market

• Broad expertise in HVAC, general planning, engineering and multi-trade coordination

• Proven experience in project management, cost and schedule management as well as leadership of interdisciplinary teams

• Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and construction processes

• Experience with BIM and digital project execution is an advantage

• Good network in the Swiss building services and real estate market as well as experience in client support and acquisition
