Role:
For an established company in the industrial sector, we are looking for a reliable and numbers-oriented personality to strengthen the finance team. You can expect a versatile position with a clear focus on accounts payable and a varied range of tasks in finance and accounting.
Responsibilities:
You handle the accounts payable from invoice verification through coding to posting
You prepare payment runs and perform controls in payment transactions
You manage the accounts payable interface and resolve any errors and discrepancies
You maintain the supplier master data in Abacus
You manage the cash register and ensure its correct reconciliation
You take over the deputy role in accounts receivable during absences, including monitoring open items and dunning
You assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
You prepare documents for audits
Qualifications:
You have a completed commercial apprenticeship with a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ), further training as a finance and accounting clerk is an advantage
Experience in accounts payable is essential
Ideally, you have experience with Abacus
You are IT-savvy and confident in using digital tools
You communicate very well in German, both spoken and written
Good English skills for communication with suppliers and customers are expected
