Senior DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
For a technologically demanding IT environment, an experienced individual is sought as a Senior DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer. The focus is on the operation and further development of modern cloud and on-premises infrastructures as well as the automation of deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
The position combines Azure, Windows, Linux, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD with a high level of personal responsibility for productive systems. Those who enjoy optimising complex platforms, analysing disruptions sustainably, and automating recurring processes will find a varied range of tasks here.
Responsibilities:
Operation and continuous development of cloud and on-premises infrastructures as well as delivery pipelines
Automation and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Docker in different environments
Building and operating modern observability and monitoring solutions with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo and Graylog
Further development and operation of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
Analysis and resolution of incidents including root cause analysis, postmortems and sustainable optimisations
Creation of runbooks, ADRs and automations for recurring operational processes
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering as well as experience with productive infrastructure
Very good knowledge of Docker and Terraform, ideally in multi-subscription and multi-environment setups
Solid experience with Microsoft Azure as well as on-premises virtualisation with Hyper-V, VMware or Proxmox
Very good knowledge in the administration of Windows and Linux servers as well as in PowerShell and Bash
Experience with CI/CD, TLS/PKI, reverse proxies and code signing
Good knowledge of networking, security and databases as well as strong analytical skills
