In this role, you make a tangible contribution to the punctual and cost-efficient provision of track construction machinery (TCM) for maintenance and renewal of infrastructure. You work closely with colleagues from planning, logistics and operations and help shape processes that strengthen the reliability of the rail network. What you can achieve.
- For the four regions, you organise the logistics chain of heavy track construction machinery (tamping machines, rail grinding trains, excavation machines, cranes) for maintenance and track renewals under economic and availability criteria.
- In the internal planning tool Construction Site Assistant BSA, you plan deployments for SBB, BLS, TPF and private construction sites and ensure efficient utilisation of the machines.
- In your role, you coordinate dates and resources with regional coordinators, negotiate with external TCM service providers and monitor service delivery according to contracts.
- Additionally, you take on partial technical leadership tasks for the TCM team by ensuring the currency of technical guidance, developing and conducting training, and supporting the professional development of employees.
- As a power user, you are responsible for building and further developing the BSA, training users, coordinating permissions, troubleshooting errors and ensuring the connection to SAP S4. Additionally, you develop automated processes and reports to optimise planning and control.
What you bring with you.
- You communicate convincingly and appropriately with internal and external contacts, impress with assertiveness and initiative, and carry out tasks responsibly, solution-oriented and purposefully.
- You have several years of experience in the track area.
- Confident handling of SAP and common Office applications as well as IT affinity and willingness to familiarise yourself with area-specific applications are required.
- You have completed a commercial, technical or railway operations basic education EFZ and bring sound knowledge of construction and logistics processes.
- You have a very good command of German (at least C1) and basic knowledge of French (at least A2).
