ICT System Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role, you design modern ICT system and cloud solutions and ensure stable, secure, and high-performance operation across all environments. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and further developing cloud and on-premise infrastructures and accompany the entire lifecycle from conception to operation. You take on technical analysis and troubleshooting in complex system landscapes and ensure smooth operation through monitoring and optimisation. Furthermore, you contribute your expertise to the standardisation and automation of processes, actively supporting the continuous improvement of ICT services.
Responsibilities:
Technical design of future-proof IT landscapes and realisation of varied infrastructure and cloud projects for different customers
Engineering and administration of hybrid system environments across server, identity, virtualisation, and cloud technologies
Assuming a technical expert role in more complex infrastructure issues and actively supporting the optimisation of existing customer platforms
Evaluation of new technologies and transition of suitable solutions into productive use, including comprehensible technical documentation
Qualifications:
Solid IT educational background and several years of practical experience in a system engineering or infrastructure role
Broad Microsoft know-how with a focus on Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure, as well as a good understanding of modern cloud architectures
Additional experience in networking, cybersecurity, backup, or virtualisation; vendor certifications such as AZ-104 are a plus
Proactive and service-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality, confident communication in German, and appropriate mobility
