In this role, you make a direct contribution to the safety of worksites in railway areas, as reliable alert systems protect personnel and ensure the smooth progress of construction and maintenance work. You work closely with various departments, propose ideas for product improvements, and develop your technical and methodological skills. What you can influence.
- As the operational manager of alert systems, you take charge of the alert systems nationwide throughout their entire lifecycle, from planning to decommissioning, thus contributing to railway safety.
- You manage the Swiss alert systems over their entire lifecycle and ensure their reliable operation. In this capacity, you support local super-users and the safety management on technical matters. If necessary, you organise knowledge transfer through training sessions.
- You apply your technical expertise to new projects and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations for safe worksites.
- In contractual and commercial matters, you are the main contact person for alert system suppliers and other stakeholders.
- You manage protection system projects on site on behalf of project management, facility management, and Life Cycle Management. In collaboration with strategic facility management, you participate in product evaluations and procurements according to public procurement law.

- You are interested in safety on railway worksites and welcome new technologies. Professional experience in railway alert systems is an advantage.
- Ideally, you have a higher technical education (e.g. University of Applied Sciences or Technical College) and experience in safety management roles.
- You have proficiency in German or French at least at level C1 and another national language ideally at level B2. You have knowledge of technical English at least at level B1.
