VITOGAZ Switzerland AG is the leader in the Swiss liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) market. As part of the development of our infrastructures, we are looking for an Engineering & Maintenance Manager for our Cornaux (NE) site. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, availability, and safety of our facilities, providing technical and managerial leadership to a team of around 8 employees.
Your responsibilities
QHSSE & Quality
Ensure strict compliance with safety instructions during work and depot operationsDevelop and maintain a technical emergency plan for the depotsImplement HSE measures decided by management and monitor the VITOGAZ quality policyKeep risks related to changes at an acceptable level (MOC)
Engineering & Projects
Manage technical improvement projects for the facilities in collaboration with internal and external partnersEnsure equipment replacement according to defined life cyclesLead project teams and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Maintenance
Establish and manage annual preventive maintenance plans for the depotsCarry out unplanned interventions and repairsEnsure maintenance of VITOGAZ buildings and infrastructureManage a spare parts stock and set up framework maintenance contracts
Administration & Management
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of maintenance and project budgets (approx. 3,500 kCHF in total)Optimise staffing according to demand and develop technicians’ skillsDefine and monitor performance indicators (KPIs)Ensure updating of depot plans and technical documentation
Your profile
Engineering degree in mechanical, chemical, process, or industrial engineeringExcellent knowledge in LPG and industrial facility maintenanceProven experience in managing technical projects and teamsLanguages: French (preferably native), good command of GermanNatural authority, sense of responsibility and decision-making abilityInnovative mindset, rigour, and strong team spiritHighly organised and results-oriented
