VITOGAZ Switzerland AG is the Swiss market leader in the field of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). To strengthen our team at our location in Cornaux (NE), we are looking for an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for the integrity, availability, and safety of our facilities and lead a team of approximately 8 employees.
Your tasks
QHSSE & Quality
Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations during operation and work in the depotsDeveloping and maintaining a technical emergency plan for the depotsImplementing the HSE measures of the management as well as the quality policy of VITOGAZKeeping risks related to planned changes at an acceptable level (MOC)
Engineering & Projects
Leading the project and maintenance teams as well as coordinating contractors and suppliersManaging projects for the technical improvement of the facilities in cooperation with internal and external partnersReplacing equipment according to the manufacturer’s lifecycle or operational requirements
Maintenance
Creating and further developing the annual maintenance plans for the depotsCarrying out unplanned interventions and troubleshootingMaintaining the buildings and infrastructure of VITOGAZManaging a spare parts inventory and setting up framework agreements for recurring maintenance work
Administration & Leadership
Contributing to the preparation and monitoring of maintenance and project budgets (total approx. CHF 3,500k)Optimising staffing levels and promoting the skills development of maintenance techniciansDefining and monitoring performance indicators (KPIs)Updating depot plans and technical documentation
Your profile
Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, chemistry, process engineering, or industrial engineeringExcellent knowledge in the field of LPG and industrial plant maintenanceProven experience in technical project management and team leadershipLanguages: French (preferably native), good knowledge of GermanNatural authority, decisiveness, and sense of responsibilityInnovative spirit, meticulousness, and strong team spiritStrong organisational skills and results-oriented working style
