Housekeeping Specialist EFZ / Assistant Team Leader

In the Facility and Real Estate Services sector, over 500 employees from around 44 nations are employed, which includes departments such as cleaning, laundry and bed supply, as well as wardrobe management. The Belp Hospital and Nursing Home is a modern, medium-sized operation of the Insel Group with around 120 beds and a versatile infrastructure. The area includes cleaning of all resident rooms, geriatric rehabilitation, therapy rooms, offices, public spaces, and the bed centre.

What to expect

• Taking over daily responsibility
• Contact person in the absence of management
• Practical work in all areas
• Adhering to and monitoring hygiene standards
• Preparing monthly accounts and billing
• Purchasing consumables / stock management
• Planning and conducting training sessions
• Creating and revising work documents
• Inducting new employees
• Working with IT-based tools Epic and Soobr
• Committed work effort, flexible according to workload, including weekends

What you bring

• Completed basic training (EFZ) in the cleaning sector (housekeeping, building cleaning)
• At least three years of professional experience, preferably in healthcare
• Discreet, loyal and flexible personality
• Confident PC skills
• Likeable hands-on mentality: active support of the teams
• In addition to your native German (or diploma from C1), you have good PC user skills (MS Office)
