If numbers are your passion, accuracy is a given for you, and you want more than just bookkeeping, this role is ideal for you. In this varied position, you will take on a central role in accounting and work closely with the CFO. You actively contribute your ideas, take responsibility, and help shape processes whose impact is directly noticeable. You can expect a dynamic SME environment with an international business character, short decision-making paths, an open communication culture, and flat hierarchies. Responsibilities:
- You record and maintain creditor master data as well as payment details and post creditor and transport invoices
- In this role, you prepare payment runs, transmit them to e-banking, and process expense reports
- As an accountant, you support the debtor area and represent your colleagues when needed
- You post and allocate bank, postal, and cash vouchers, record monthly accruals, and maintain exchange rates
- In this role, you assist with monthly and annual financial statements, prepare VAT, Intrastat, and ZM reports, and manage SAP ByDesign master data
- As an accountant, you act as an interface to payroll accounting, social insurance, and external tax advisors/trustees
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial education
- You are confident in accounting (financial accounting, creditors, payroll) and have solid knowledge of balance sheets
- You work proficiently with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- You have experience with online banking and booking in ERP systems (ideally SAP)
- You communicate confidently in German and English, both spoken and written
- You work independently, structured, and efficiently and are characterised by team spirit, curiosity, flexibility, and openness to new things
