Microsoft Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take on the technical implementation and operation of modern ICT infrastructures. You will work with on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments and be responsible for commissioning and further development of server, network, security, backup, and Microsoft technologies. Additionally, you will support ICT projects and the presales team with your technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Commissioning and configuration of ICT solutions in the areas of server, firewall, software deployment, backup, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, MDM, and MAM
Operation and further development of networks and server infrastructures in on-premises, hybrid cloud, and full cloud environments
Implementation and technical collaboration in ICT and organisational projects
Support of sales in technical presales activities
Analysis and resolution of technical faults in operational processes
Further development of existing ICT infrastructures and services
Collaboration with customers, internal departments, and external partners
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, specialising in platform development, ideally complemented by further education at HF or FH level
Several years of professional experience as a cloud or system engineer
Sound knowledge of Windows client and server environments as well as PowerShell
Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, Fortinet, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Microsoft Intune
Experience with on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures
Strong customer and service orientation
Independent, reliable, and structured working style
Willingness to learn, team spirit, and high initiative
Very good German and good English skills
Driving licence category B
