As part of the Clinic for Consultation, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (Head: Dr med Rafael Meyer), the Centre for Geriatric Psychiatry (Head: Kristine Ewert, Dr med Andrea Wälder and Susanne Spring) fulfils a valuable mission for the mental health of older people and their relatives with its services. It has four specialised wards as well as two outpatient clinics with Memory Clinics at the Aarau and Windisch locations. In addition to consultations and advisory services for relatives, the outpatient area includes the geriatric psychiatric consultation and liaison service for nursing homes. The centre is an SIWF-recognised training centre for psychiatry and psychotherapy, geriatric psychiatry, consultation and liaison psychiatry, as well as general internal medicine.

Profile

• Completed commercial or medical vocational training
• Many years of professional experience in secretarial/clerical work in healthcare, or in a similar role, required
• Confident German, foreign languages an advantage
• Secure IT skills (especially MS Office)
• Affinity for IT/process/quality management, advantageous
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as patient contact (by phone and in person)
• Flair for organisation and planning, networked thinking, independent, efficient and reliable working style
• Flexible, team-oriented and resilient personality

Tasks

• Ensuring secretariat operations as well as other organisational tasks in clinic management
• Preparation and follow-up as well as minute-taking of meetings
• Management of document management with BIC
• Controlling clinic management and personnel planning tool (PEP)
• Processing and checking of training applications
• Organisation of workplaces for new employees (IAM)
• Participation in projects according to clinic assistance/clinic management
• Electronic medical record management with KIS/Orbis
• Representation of Assistant Clinic Management
