The Human Resources Department (HRD) has the primary mission of ensuring the development of the institution's human capital in view of organisational evolution. It constantly seeks to innovate, challenge, and improve its practices while basing its strategy on the positive experience of employees. The HR policy of the HUG is based on the development of skills and career paths in line with institutional needs and focuses on taking into account the individual, work-life balance, and health and safety at work.
We are strengthening the HR team of the Directorate and common services.
Within this HR team, your activities notably include the administrative management of employees of the Directorate and common services, including the production of various administrative acts.
As part of this opportunity, you provide information and advice to employees and managers on matters related to HR procedures and assume administrative management for the target audience for which you are responsible, in synergy with a deputy HR manager colleague and two HR managers. Thus, you intervene administratively throughout the entire lifecycle of staff members, from recruitment to departure, and in connection with numerous partners of the HRD and the institution (salary manager, recruitment service, managers, etc.).
You guarantee, by delegation of the human resources manager, the organisation and management of activities related to file processing while ensuring a fair distribution of priorities. You coordinate HR services according to the rules and directives of the HRD, representing the institutional human resources policy.
You support your manager in developing a harmonious and respectful working environment.
Customer and solution-oriented, you also identify with the values of the HUG, which you embody in the exercise of your duties.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification in the field of human sciences, hotel business management, or economic sciences, and you have necessarily completed your initial training with the HR manager certificate.
You have a minimum of three to five years’ professional experience in a similar role. Knowledge of the medical environment and/or the Geneva public sector is an asset. Your experience has led you to develop a sense of discretion and confidentiality as well as strong organisational skills.
You have a very good command of common IT tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as collaborative tools (SharePoint, Teams, ...).
You have perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written.
Flexible, rigorous, organised, and with good interpersonal skills, you know how to work in a team and develop harmonious relationships with your contacts, demonstrating diplomacy and tact.
Finally, you are capable of managing a significant workload and setting priorities.
