Head of Finance & Accounting 80% - 100% (a)

Your main tasks:

• You are responsible for the accounting of the two operating companies and the holding at the Swiss headquarters.
• You manage the general ledgers and ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• You lead the accountant (accounts receivable/payable) both professionally and disciplinarily, as well as the controller who reports to you professionally.
• You ensure group consolidation according to Swiss GAAP FER, in close cooperation with the controller and the group CFO.
• You actively contribute your expertise to the implementation of the new ERP system and help shape the accounting processes in the new system.
• You are the contact person for the auditors, tax authorities and banks at the Swiss location.
• You are responsible for liquidity planning and cash management of the Swiss companies.
• You continuously develop processes and internal controls (ICS) and create order and reliability in accounting.
• You work closely with management and the group CFO and act as a sparring partner.

Ideally, you bring the following qualifications for this interesting position:

• You have several years of experience in accounting and have already taken on some leadership responsibility or are ready to take this step.
• You are confident in Swiss Code of Obligations accounting; experience with Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial company is a plus.
• You have a confident command of German and good English skills.
• You are open to change and approach the introduction of a new ERP system with enthusiasm rather than clinging to the existing one.
• Your education is less important to us than your experience and attitude – whether a professional certificate, certified accounting expert or a comparable career path.
• You work in a structured, responsible manner and keep an overview even with two companies and the holding.
