Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Our Rocken partner is an international corporation active in the design, manufacture and sale of finished watches, jewellery, movements and components.
Responsibilities:
Design, configuration and implementation of network infrastructures
Creation of technical documentation and work instructions for network operations
Coordination with application, infrastructure and security teams as well as internal and external partners
Participation and technical responsibility in small and medium-sized network projects
Assumption of 2nd and 3rd level support for complex network issues
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant network environment
Solid knowledge in routing and switching as well as excellent knowledge of Cisco Catalyst, Cisco DNA, BGP and OSPF
Good knowledge of WAN technologies such as MPLS and Riverbed as well as basic to intermediate knowledge of Fortinet firewalls
Interest in API, Python scripting and automation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as very good German language skills in spoken and written form
