Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Architect / Project Manager for the comprehensive management of demanding architectural projects with high design and technical quality. You will manage projects from strategic planning and design through to execution and handover across SIA phases 21-53. In addition to architectural project responsibility, you will advise clients, lead interdisciplinary planning teams and represent projects to authorities and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you will contribute to competitions, acquisitions and the professional development of the architectural department.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and control of demanding architecture and building projects across SIA phases 21-53
Development of project strategies, concepts, designs and architectural solutions
Ensuring and further developing the design, constructive and technical project quality
Leadership and coordination of architects, specialist planners, experts and contractors
Consultation and support of clients from project definition to realisation
Management of interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services and other disciplines
Representation of projects to authorities, approval bodies and other stakeholders
Preparation of variants, decision bases, feasibility analyses and project strategies
Early identification and management of project risks, conflicting objectives and planning dependencies
Monitoring of deadlines, planning quality and project-specific targets
Participation in competitions, study commissions, tenders and project acquisition
Active shaping of planning standards, processes and the professional development of the architectural department
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect ETH or FH
Several years of professional experience in the Swiss architecture and planning sector
Proven experience in managing demanding building projects
Sound knowledge of SIA phases 21-53, Swiss construction processes and relevant standards
Experience in leading and coordinating interdisciplinary planning teams and external specialist planners
Good knowledge of industry-standard CAD/BIM and project management tools
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
