ICT Security Engineer Network & Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Role:
You bring experience in planning and further developing network and security solutions and want to actively secure modern ICT environments? In this position, you implement demanding technical projects, further develop network architectures, and ensure comprehensible documentation as well as compliance with technical standards.
In addition to the technical implementation, you take on an important role in customer projects, risk analyses, and complex support cases. You work closely with various departments and contribute to continuously expanding security services and know-how within the team.
Responsibilities:
Implementation of ICT projects and changes including handover to operations
Planning, implementation, and documentation of firewall, network, and security solutions
Further development of network standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps
Support in expanding managed security services and security analyses
Accompanying technical reviews, risk analyses, and demanding escalation cases
Advising internal teams as well as sales and presales on technical questions and supporting knowledge transfer within the team
Qualifications:
Completed training in the ICT field; a higher vocational education or comparable qualification is a plus
Several years of professional experience in engineering network and cyber security solutions
Good knowledge of firewall technologies, switching, WLAN, VPN, and network segmentation
Familiarity with zero-trust and SASE concepts; experience with Versa Networks is desirable
Practical experience in customer projects as well as in technical documentation and standardisation
Solution-oriented, independent, and structured working style with strong customer orientation
Very good German skills and good technical English
