An innovative working environment awaits you, where you can drive major changes and thus contribute to the digitalisation of the SBB. Together with your team colleagues, you will develop solutions for current challenges and implement them as a team. Further training is also not neglected for individual professional development. Attractive working conditions are important to us; our benefits such as child allowances, free 2nd class GA, and discounted travel abroad – also for the family – can be found on our website under " Benefits ".
What you will achieve.
- You take care of construction, maintenance, and repair work on infrastructure facilities, thus making an important contribution to smooth railway operations.
- A varied and diverse working day awaits you at various SBB stations in the Lucerne region.
- You ensure the commissioning and decommissioning of various signalling systems: from electronic interlocking systems to relay interlockings.
- Through your systematic approach, you identify and report irregularities and defects and initiate their rectification as well as further development.
- You will undergo a two-year internal training to become a signalling systems technician. Here you will be trained to independently locate and rectify faults in the internal systems.
- With your newly acquired expertise and experience, you will independently locate and rectify faults in the safety systems during on-call duty.

- Safety is your top priority, you are proficient with common MS Office programmes and have a flair for the seamless functioning of machines and systems.
- You find working indoors as well as in all weather conditions on the track area exciting.
- You have completed basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) in the electrical engineering field (automation, electromechanics, electrical assembly) or a similar area.
- Irregular work or on-call duty at night and on weekends does not bother you.
- You hold a category B driving licence and have good oral and written German skills (at least B2).
