About the job
Founded in 1983 and firmly established in Meyrin, Oscar Plumber is a family business active in plumbing, sanitary installations, renovation, and repairs.
With over forty years of experience, the company has grown while remaining true to the values that built its reputation: a passion for quality work, availability, responsiveness, respect, and trust.
Our expertise is primarily based on a team of experienced and committed professionals, attentive to our clients’ needs and driven by a shared demand for quality. Whether it concerns new constructions, renovations, or repair interventions, we prioritise reliable solutions, rigorous work, and close relationships.
To support the development of our activities, we are looking for a "Sanitary Technician / Project Manager".
We seek a personality capable of combining solid technical expertise with a comprehensive vision of project management. As a true representative of the Director and a key interface between operational teams and clients, you will hold a central role in managing projects and the daily organisation of activities.
The variety of projects and responsibilities will fully showcase your skills and allow the role’s scope to evolve according to your experience and areas of expertise.
Your mission
Manage sanitary projects from start to finish, advise clients, and coordinate teams to ensure the quality of work, respect deadlines, and ensure project profitability.
Your responsibilities
- Understand and analyse client and management requests, conduct technical visits, and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare measurements, quotes, budgets, and bids, ensuring the accuracy of estimates and project profitability.
- Organise and simultaneously manage construction sites and repairs, coordinating resources, equipment, orders, priorities, and various stakeholders.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise teams daily: distribute workload, set priorities, and provide necessary technical support.
- Ensure quality execution, technical compliance, and respect for deadlines, costs, and commitments made.
- Maintain a trusting relationship with clients, management, and agents, ensure proactive communication, and promptly provide solutions to encountered difficulties.
- Handle administrative and financial follow-up of projects until completion and contribute, alongside the Director, to organisational improvements.
Your profile
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a sanitary installer or equivalent training; higher education such as a federal diploma or ES diploma is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of sanitary systems, construction site techniques, and current standards, complemented by experience in estimating or site supervision.
- Service orientation and client satisfaction, with the ability to build trustful relationships.
- Close leadership, clear communication, and ability to unite and coordinate teams.
- Analytical mind, rigour, autonomy, sense of priorities, and decision-making ability.
- Good command of IT tools and a valid driving licence.
