In this role, you ensure the reliable operation of production equipment and technical infrastructure and maintain high equipment availability. You independently carry out maintenance, repair, and installation work, analyse technical faults, and implement sustainable solutions. You work closely with the maintenance team and support the continuous operation of industrial plants.
Responsibilities:
Performing maintenance, servicing, and repair work on production machines and technical equipment
Installing and commissioning new machines, systems, and building technology components
Conducting regular inspections and functional checks on electrical installations and operational equipment
Analysing, localising, and resolving faults in control and automation systems
Supporting the optimisation of existing systems and technical processes
Documenting completed work and ensuring compliance with technical and safety-related requirements
Participating in conversions, modernisations, and expansions of the production infrastructure
Taking on on-call duties and promptly resolving faults during unplanned equipment outages
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as an electrician EFZ, electromechanic EFZ, automation technician EFZ, or comparable technical training
Experience in maintenance of industrial plants and production systems
Good knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Basic knowledge of PLC controls and industrial automation
Installation authorisation according to NIV Art. 13 or Art. 15 is an advantage
Analytical and networked thinking with strong problem-solving skills
Independent, reliable, and structured working style
High commitment and sense of responsibility
Communicative personality with enjoyment of working in a small team
Fluent German language skills
