Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as an Architect ETH / FH for an established architectural firm with diverse and creatively demanding construction projects. You will take on architectural planning and project management from the initial design idea through project development to construction implementation. The focus is on design and execution planning, constructive detail development, and CAD-supported project processing. The position offers a varied field of activity with high creative responsibility and the opportunity to actively shape different construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling of architectural projects across all planning phases from concept development to realisation
Design and project planning for new build, conversion, and renovation projects considering aesthetic, functional, and economic requirements
Creation of project, building permit, and execution plans using modern CAD and 3D planning tools
Architectural and constructive detail planning including material selection, façade development, and elaboration of technical solutions
Coordination of specialist planning with structural engineers, building services planners, and other external project participants
Handling building permit procedures including preparation of required planning documents and coordination with authorities
Ensuring compliance with SIA standards, cantonal building regulations, and relevant technical and building law requirements
Participation in tenders and awards including preparation of specifications and review of technical offers
Quality assurance and plan review regarding design, construction, feasibility, and technical requirements
Support during construction implementation and coordination with site management, specialist planners, and contractors
Optimisation of planning solutions considering sustainability, energy efficiency, construction costs, and material selection
Qualifications:
Completed architecture studies at ETH or FH or equivalent recognised qualification
Several years of professional experience in Swiss architectural practice, especially in project development and execution planning
Solid knowledge in design, construction, detail planning, and material selection for building projects
Very good CAD skills and experience with digital 2D and 3D planning methods
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations, and building permit procedures
Experience in coordinating specialist planners and in technical project management across several SIA phases
Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written
