Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Plant Construction (m/f/d)

For our renowned business partner, a world-leading high-tech company in surface and system technology as well as in special plant construction in the Wohlen (AG) region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed specialist as Design Engineer Plant Construction for a Try & Hire (with option for permanent employment).

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Development and mechanical design of handling components as well as precise part fixtures for thermal coating systems
• Creation of complete parts lists, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
• Static design and calculation of mechanical components
• Development of plant layouts for coating systems as well as conception of optimised manufacturing processes
• Preparation of detailed project studies and concepts for customer-specific orders including technical cost estimation
• Support during commissioning of handling systems, accompaniment of plant acceptance and contribution to customer manuals
• Continuous development and standardisation of existing plant components
• Occasional technical support assignments at customer plants domestically and abroad

Must-Haves

• Successfully completed vocational training as a draftsman EFZ or polymechanic EFZ with solid further education at HF, TS or FH level (mechanical engineering, system technology or comparable)
• Sound, several years of professional experience in mechanical design (ideally in machine or plant construction)
• Proficient and confident handling of modern 3D CAD systems (preferably Autodesk Inventor)
• Practical user knowledge in SAP (ERP)
• Structured, goal-oriented and independent as well as proactive working style
• Business fluent German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills (at least level B2)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in analysing and optimising modern manufacturing processes
• Knowledge or practice in the field of thermal processes, vacuum technology or coating systems
