Head of Accounting (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF108,000 - 115,000Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual for a responsible position in accounting. You will take on a central role in ensuring financial processes and closings and support various companies within an international environment. At the same time, you will contribute your experience to the further development of structures, policies, and procedures and actively shape processes.
Responsibilities:
You ensure a correct and timely monthly closing and coordinate the relevant closing activities
You review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses and ensure reliable data quality in the general ledger
You prepare financial reports and analyses and ensure compliance with internal policies as well as local accounting standards
You support and accompany employees in accounts payable and financial accounting and provide advisory assistance on technical questions
You participate in budgeting and forecasting processes and assist with financial planning
You identify optimisation potentials in accounting and continuously develop processes, policies, and documentation
You work on various financial projects and the implementation of new software solutions and support international accounting matters
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree in finance or accounting or a comparable professional qualification with relevant further training
You bring several years of professional experience in accounting or finance and have experience in developing and optimising accounting processes
You have very good Excel skills and are familiar with modern accounting and ERP solutions; experience with NetSuite is an advantage
You have experience dealing with international companies and cross-border transactions
You communicate fluently in German and English
